The freeware version is very good and it can be very highly recommended. a freeware which can be freely installed and used, but does not do batch processing and does not save the EXIF data, Noiseware Standard edition is available on several versions: I have Noiseware Standard editon stand-along version 2.6, and I review here this version. Even in their emails, there is no name of the person responding, it just support.Efficient, Excellent results, batch processing On top of that, Microsoft support has nothing to do with their product. Still as a package deal for both of them it is worth the price. Though I think these days with sensors becoming better and ISO of 6400, the need for noise reduction is luckily becoming less and less. As this is a review of the website and they also sell noiseware, I will also say that is an excellent plug in and if you do a lot of high ISO shooting then it is a lifesaver. Probably not the best tool for an amateur as it really only shines when in the hands of a professional who already knows photoshop and uses it as a plug in. If a client is waiting on 30 photos and you have an hour to deliver them, then portraiture comes to your rescue. If you have a single masterpiece you are working on then obviously you would do it by hand and use photoshop. Portraiture by imagenomic was designed for the busy professional who knows photoshop but for the sake of time would rather automate the tedious process of touching up photos. When people ask me whether to choose portraiture over portrait professional, I usually will go in this direction. Even in their emails, there is no name of the person responding, it just support. I don't have this problem with Photoshop on the same PC, Nik Collection on the same PC and Capture One on the same PC. The response comes that they can't answer my question because I am using Windows 7 which is no longer supported by Microsoft. They asked me for info from the photoshop help section. Recently, after starting to get tired of this, I emailed them to ask why this was happening. That means every time I get back online, I have to re-enter the license which I have been keeping on the desktop for this reason. This has been happening on my machine for a some months.įor security, when I am not using my computer, I disconnect internet. So when you are offline for couple days, it de-activates the key. It looks like there is a piece of code that checks the license key online. It's a very good product but customer service is a zero.
